As we head into the new season, tuition fees will increase by just 2% beginning in September. We're also happy to share that our Annual Membership Fee will remain at $60.

The $60 Splitz Annual Membership Fee will automatically renew for all currently enrolled members on September 1.

We're also introducing a new membership renewal schedule for members who join after September 1:

  • All participants at Splitz Gymnastics are required to have Membership. The annual Membership fee is $60 and is valid for 12 months. The annual Splitz Membership fee will be automatically applied to your first autopay billing cycle (2nd month) and renewed annually with active enrolment.

We look forward to another exciting season with all of our Splitz families!

POLICY UPDATES

We have updated our policies for the upcoming 2026/2027 season. Families have been sent a link to review and acknowledge the most recent policies. Please ensure this is completed prior to your child’s first September class to ensure seamless participation.

Parent Support

All classes at Splitz are designed to encourage independent participation. If your child needs additional support in a non-parented class, we may request that an adult be present in class as an aide. Should this be necessary, our team will contact you with further guidance. For all of our Tiny Starz classes, we ask that parents or caregivers remain in the facility during class. This allows us to provide additional support if your child needs assistance during class or requires help with using the bathroom. Please note that our instructors are unable to assist children in the washroom, so a parent or caregiver must be available to provide bathroom support if needed.

PRO-SHOP

Head into September in style and Shine Bright in Spiltz!

Our Pro-Shop is stocked with sweaters, shorts, bodysuits, T-shirts, and more.

MEMBERSHIP PINS & MEDALS

All students will receive a new membership pin for the 2026–2027 season! Members should also have a membership medal to collect their pins.

New to Splitz? Your child will receive their membership medal within the first two weeks of class, or you can stop by the office to pick one up.

Pins will be handed out with F.A.Q. cards featuring some of our most common Splitz practices and perks.

Collect them all and Shine Bright! ✨

SKILL TESTING WEEK

Every 3–5 weeks, we hold Skill Testing Weeks to assess student progress. During this time, our leadership team and floor support staff will be actively involved in classes to help coaches update each student’s skill assessments. You can expect to see our leadership team joining in during classes and supporting evaluations to ensure every student receives the attention they need.

As part of our commitment to your child’s growth, we aim to provide consistent monthly updates on their skill progress. We’re confident this initiative will enhance both your child’s development and their overall experience at Splitz
.

Important Policies

MAKE-UP CLASSES

Make-up classes are provided as an additional member service. After a missed class, a make-up token will automatically be added to your account. Tokens may be used for a make-up class within the same program as your child’s current active enrolment.

  • Each student is eligible for a maximum of one make-up token per month.
  • Each token is valid for 90 days from the date it is issued.
  • Make-up tokens must be used while your child is actively enrolled.
  • All make-up classes must be booked through the Splitz Gymnastics App.

If your child’s enrolment ends, any remaining make-up tokens will remain on your account for 90 days from the original issue date. If you return to Splitz within that 90-day period, the tokens will become active and available for use once your child is enrolled in an active class again. After 90 days, any unused make-up tokens will expire and be removed from your account.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

A request to withdraw is required to cancel your child’s membership. The withdraw request must be received by the 15th of the desired drop month in order to be processed. Requests to withdraw may be submitted through our parent portal, by email, by phone, or in person during office hours. Your child may attend their final classes and you no longer have any financial obligations. Requests received after the 15th of the month will receive a drop date for the end of the following month.

PARENT SUPPORT

All classes at Splitz are designed to encourage independent participation—with the exception of our Twinkling Starz program, which requires parent involvement.

Progressive Behaviour Management
For disruptive or inappropriate behaviour that does not involve physical violence or hate speech, the following steps will generally be followed:

  1. In-Class Warning: The student will receive a clear verbal warning from the instructor and be reminded of the expected behaviour.
  2. Removal from Class: If the disruptive behaviour continues after the warning, the student will be asked to leave the class for the remainder of the session.
  3. Parent/Guardian Notification: The parent or guardian will be informed of the incident and any concerns regarding the student's behaviour.

    Zero-Tolerance Behaviour
Physical violence, threats of violence, bullying involving physical aggression, and hate speech are not tolerated.
Any student who engages in physical violence or uses hate speech will be immediately dismissed from class, without the standard warning or progressive behaviour steps. The parent or guardian will be contacted immediately and further consequences, including suspension or removal from the program, may be considered.
Hate speech includes discriminatory or hateful language or conduct directed at a person or group based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.

GENERAL REMINDERS

SICKNESS

A friendly reminder to please keep your children home if they are experiencing any cold symptoms. We are committed to the safety of our students and preventing the spread of illness. This includes students in class and in the viewing area to minimize the spread of sickness.

PHOTO AND VIDEO POLICY

To help protect the privacy of all of our students and families, we ask that you please refrain from taking photos or videos while in the facility.

If you do take a photo or video, only your own child should be visible in the frame. Please be mindful of the privacy of other students, families, and coaches.

If you are wearing Meta Smart Glasses or any other wearable recording device, recording is not permitted anywhere in the facility. Because we are unable to verify what is being captured, these devices must not be used to record while on the premises.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

FOOD AND DRINK IN VIEWING AREAS

A friendly reminder that our viewing areas are a no food and drink zone. This helps us keep the facility clean and ensures we are mindful of others’ allergies. Thank you for your understanding!

LEAVE A VOICEMAIL

As our facilities can get quite busy, please ensure you leave a voicemail or send a follow-up email if you are unable to get through. This will ensure you receive a prompt follow-up within 24 hours.

DON'T FORGET YOUR WATER BOTTLE

Please remember to send your child to class with a water bottle as there are limited cups in the facility to use. We ask that you send a water bottle that has a secure lid to avoid spills in the facility. Please do not bring water bottles with an open straw. The top must fully be able to close without spilling.

CLASS ATTIRE

To help ensure a safe environment for all participants, please keep the following attire guidelines in mind:

  • No crop tops or bare midriffs – We encourage gymnasts to wear bodysuits, t-shirts, shorts, leggings, or any comfortable activewear, excluding crop tops.
  • Barefoot inside the facility – Shoes should be removed before entering practice areas.
  • No jewelry – This includes necklaces, long earrings, bracelets, or other valuables. This rule helps protect your child from injury and prevents items from getting lost, damaged, or stolen.

    LATE ARRIVALS AND LATE PICK-UPS

If your child is arriving late for class, please have them come through to the office and we will ensure they are brought to the correct class. Please wait for an available administrator to take your child to class.

LOST AND FOUND

A friendly reminder that if you accidentally leave your belongings or water bottles at the facility to please try and retrieve your items at your earliest convenience. We do not hold items in the office and all will be placed in the lost and found bins until picked up. Lost and found items will be cleared out at the end of each month and only held for 1 additional week.

Don't forget...

1. Bring your reusable water bottle to class as our fountains are currently closed
2. Have long hair tied back
3. No jewelry in class

A reminder that we are a nut free facility. Please ensure your child washes their hands after consuming nuts, prior to entering the facility.

GOING TO BE AWAY?

If you know in advance that you are going to be absent for a class, please record an absence through your parent portal so that we can ensure that space is available for another athlete to participate in a make-up class! You are also able to record an absence through your parent portal online! This will allow us to better determine spaces and open up more availability for make-up classes.

PARKING SAFETY

A reminder to please drive slow through our parking lots with the days getting darker as we have many parents and students entering and exiting the facility.

A reminder for our Cloverdale families that we are limited for space so please give yourself ample time for finding parking. Please refrain from parking in the Public Storage lot if ours is full, however if you need additional space, you are welcome to park across the street beside the Holiday Inn.
