Specialty (school aged)

Specialty Program

We recognize that many children have an interest in aspects of gymnastics, but are not looking for a traditional class with time spent on all apparatus.  Our Specialty Programs ensure there is an exciting class option for everyone! Class ratios are 8 students: 1 coach.

Our gymnastics programs are continuous and run 12 months of the year. Participants are welcome to join or drop a class at any time with no long-term commitment.

Tumbling ages 8+

55 minute class

completion of CanGym Level 5 required (or equivalent) 

  • on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions.

This self-paced program is based on individual achievement and is dedicated to enhancing and perfecting tumbling passes and skills. With both an option for beginner and advanced athletes, this class is a great opportunity to have some extra time in the gym, focussing mainly on floor, trick floor, and air track tumbling. Athletes must have passed Level 5 CanGym, or equivalent, to register for this class. This co-ed, 55 minute class will help to ensure athletes achieve their tumbling goals.

Stuntz Fusion ages 5-9

45 minute class

no experience necessary – co-ed class

With our fusion class of Stuntz, Parkour, and Ninja, athletes will learn to overcome obstacles, land and fall safely, build confidence, coordination and body awareness, as well as learn the art of sword play through our new addition to the program, Ninja for gymnastics. Athletes will start to develop movements ranging from twists, spins, and flips that create an aesthetically pleasing way of moving. Athletes will progress through a colour system, mastering all skills necessary to become confident in Stunting, Parkour, and Ninja elements. 

Ultimate Fusion – Parkour & Freerunning for ages 10+ Levels 1-3

45 minute class

no experience necessary – combined with Levels 4-6 for COVID-19 capacity requirements.

This program is similar to our Stuntz Fusion class, focusing on Stunting, Parkour, and Ninja elements. While the main focus of this class will be Parkour and Free running, which is the art of movement using only your body to overcome obstacles with the most efficiency, a combination of Stunting and Ninja will be incorporated into this Ultimate Fusion class. Athletes will start to develop movements ranging from twists, spins, balances, and flips that create an aesthetically pleasing way of moving.

Ultimate Fusion – Parkour & Freerunning for ages 10+ Levels 4-6

45 minute class

completion of Parkour & Freerunning Levels 3 required – currently combined with Levels 1-3 due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions.

A continued challenge for participants who have completed Ultimate Fusion Level 1-3. 
While the main focus of this class will be Parkour and Free running, which is the art of movement using only your body to overcome obstacles with the most efficiency, a combination of Stunting and Ninja will be incorporated into this Ultimate Fusion class at a more advanced level. Athletes will develop movements ranging from twists, spins, balances, and flips that create an aesthetically pleasing way of moving.
